Alena Christine Skin Care stays firm on our policies as we are a small appointment-based business. We know unexpected events come up. Appointment times are reserved especially for you! By booking an appointment you are accepting the terms of our cancellation policy. We appreciate your business and only want to give you all the goodness that comes with our treatments!

What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cance1 or reschedulel your appointment please contact us 24 hours in advance so we may fit another client in.
What if I'm running late?
Late arrivals, please contact us as soon as possible! Appointments will be rescheduled if more than 15 minutes late. This is to ensure you recieve the full service and experience without cutting any time into your appointment.
"No-Shows" and Same Day Canellations
For "no-shows" and same day cancellations, a FEE of $30 will apply. Thank you for understanding how valuable everyone's time is!

Which facial is right for me?
Looking through each facial service and deciding what service is best for you can be intimidating. Especially if your a newbie to facials. The Glow Up and All About You facials are great for first time clients without any previous facial experience.
What should I do to prepare for my facial?
*5-7 days prior to your appointment discontinue any topical perscriptions, products containing Retinol or Vitamin A. Discontinue all use of alpa hydroxy acids (AHA), beta hydroxy acids (BHA) and benzoyl peroxide. Accutane users must stop using 6 months prior to treatments.
*Avoid waxing, electrolysis, depilatory creams and laser hair removal treatments.
*Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds.
*Do not recieve Botox or dermal fillers.
*Stop using any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating.
What to do on the days following my facial treatments?
Following these guildines will ensure the health of your skin and treatment is a success.For the next 5-7 days...
*Do not do anything that will cause your body to become heated or perspire. Example: Hot tubs, sauna and exercise.
*Be gentle with your skin. Avoid harsh cleansers, toners, exfoliants and scubbing (includes washcloths and sponges). Avoid chlorine.
*Do not use topical skin treatments, gylcolic or any retinol products until after the 5-7 days.
*Avoid facial waxing, threading and use of depilatory products for 10 days.
*Avoid tanning beds and sun exposure! It's recommended to stay indoors as much as possible. If you need to go outside make sure to wear a hat, limit your time in the sun and wear your sunscreen!
*Do not pick or touch your face. If you need to use makeup, make sure all sponges and brushes are clean.

Pre and Post treatment kits will be available for purchase to encourage less downtime, irriation and enable healing and protection. It's so important to follow pre and post treatments to maximize results and prepare skin for future appointments.

Can I get a facial if I'm pregnant or nursing?
Yes, our Enzyme Treatment is safe for pregnant and nursing moms. Make sure to let us know you are pregnant or nursing so we can prepare your facial with pregnancy safe skin care.
How often should I get a facial?
It's recommended to have a professional facial once a month. Creating a healthy habit for yourself and your skin will highly benefit you! It's also important to have a at home regiment to maintain that healthy glow before your next facial! If you are unsure what to use we'll be happy to discuss during your appointment!
